The Inspirit Story
A Land That Spoke to Us
Our story doesn’t begin with a business plan, but with a feeling. In December 2013, a neighbor pointed us towards a plot of land for sale. We stood on the edge of a rice field and looked across to a gently sloped piece of earth surrounded by lush, vibrant trees. We fell in love with it instantly.
We could immediately see the potential—how future homes could capture the sunrise over the rice paddies and the sunset through the trees. The land was alive, already a working orchard of coconut, coffee, cacao, and fruit trees that we still get to enjoy today. Running alongside it was the subak, Bali’s ancient irrigation system, with the soothing and powerful sound of its waterfall creating an atmosphere of deep peace. We were completely under its charm. Years later, our Balinese friends would confirm what we felt from the very beginning: this land has very positive energy.

We chose the name Inspirit Ubud because it captures how this place makes us feel: energized, peaceful, and joyful. The verb “inspirit” means to encourage and enliven someone, to instill life, energy, or courage. Our deepest hope is that your stay here will, in turn, INSPIRIT YOU.
Meet Our Family: The Soul of This Place
My name is Ana Lestari . I am Indonesian. I love cooking and taking care of my guests. My husband, Thierry and I have 3 boys. We love Bali and like to share it with our guests from all around the world who come to experience the magic of Ubud. All 4 INSPIRIT UBUD villas have been designed and built to provide unforgettable memories for our guests. We love our peaceful place and its natural surroundings.
We believe in fostering authentic connections with nature, and with each other. In a world increasingly orchestrated by “Artificial” Intelligence, we feel that a raw, unfiltered experience is more precious than a “perfect” or sterilized luxury environment. That is why our villas are a true immersion in nature, complete with its wildlife and sounds.
Our team is the soul of Inspirit Ubud. They are the ones who make your stay a truly Balinese experience, personifying the warmth and welcoming culture that makes this island so special.
